hackoff.com Wins International Security Software Association's Award for the Best New Product

New York, NY - November 1, 1998 - (BUSINESS WIRE) hackoff.com ®, the leading provider of hacker protection to e-commerce web sites worldwide, announced that it has received the Best New Product of the Year Award from the International Security Software Association. hackoff.com’s CEO Larry Lazard will accept the prestigious award at the Association’s Annual Meeting in Los Angeles on November 11th.

The ISSA’s Executive Board accepts nominations for the Best New Product Award from all of its member companies. The Nomination Committee, headed this year by George Stein, Editor of the ISSA’s newsletter, THE SECURITY NEWS, culled through over 100 nominations and presented the 5 best to the Executive Board. The Nominating Committee polled customers of the products nominated as well as the staff of the renowned Data Processing Department of Princeton University for input into its decision making process. The five finalists were then carefully considered by the Executive Board before they made their decision on the overall winner.

"The ISSA’s Best New Product Award is the most coveted award in the security industry," said Larry Lazard, Chairman and CEO of hackoff.com. "hackoff.com invests in its customers in several ways. We provide the most secure software to protect them and their customers’ e-commerce transactions and we invest in their success by allowing them to pay for this protection using equity, cash or a combination of both. This unique licensing plan allows even the newest e-commerce startups the same protection that the world’s largest e-commerce sites are receiving."
